In many of these broadcasts, Tuft tacitly promotes his law firm and the interests of its clients to sitting judges and family law referees.
Even more egregious, Tuft offers Minnesota judicial officers a possible channel to subvert ethical rules. Based on those rules, judicial officers are generally prohibited from commenting on active cases. Instead, Tuft talks about the collusive and shady legal networks where attorneys and judges get together to broker information. Tuft is no longer secret about these deceptive backwaters. Rather, Tuft now openly uses his podcast as a megaphone to propagandize the interests of abusive judicial officers.
