Brian Niemietz is a reporter for the New York Daily News. On July 24, 2021 he published an article attempting to shame a patient who tragically passed away from COVID-19.
It remains totally outrageous that a reporter would attempt to humiliate a family experiencing this level of suffering. Even worse, he is attempting to martyr patients who have sadly died of COVID-19 in order to encourage others to get vaccinated.
As far as Protest Press is concerned, Niemietz is no better than Derek Chauvin to the extent – on the narrow issue – that Chauvin did nothing but mock George Floyd as Floyd was gasping for air. Niemietz is just another shameful reporter who attempts to embarrass families in their greatest time of need.
