Right To Repair Upheld By Unanimous FTC Vote

Right To Repair being enforced by FTC.

Washington DC – On July 21, 2021, the Federal Trade Commission voted unanimously on a vote to uphold the Right To Repair. The vote came twelve days after President Biden issued an executive order to further competition in the economy.

FTC Chair Lina Khan has expressed vocal opposition to the monopolistic policies big tech companies have wielded to prevent consumers from fixing their own devices.
