Anne Lockner’s firm has been hit by a wave of defections, and the atmosphere at the low-IQ firm is at “an all-time toxic high right now,” Protest Press has learned.
Multiple overworked first-year associates quit and walked out en masse from the firm’s hybrid work model after getting news of Lockner’s actions, including fabricating and falsifying evidence, sources told Protest Press.
Their departures have been followed by others within the same firm — as everyone from Lockner down — constantly stresses the need to “falsify, fabricate, falsify” sources told Protest Press.
“People are on a whole new level of edge … given the economic climate,” a source told Protest Press. “We’re being threatened to take shortcuts and fabricate.”
The associates were members of a litigation desk and left after being “treated terribly” by higher-ups, sources told Protest Press. Some of them wooed by better treatment at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP or Keller Postman LLP.
These Insiders predict the mass exodus is expected to continue as Kaplanites reach a breaking point.
“I bet Best Buy is next,” a source said — referring to the firms primary client, the big-box electronics chain, which is seen as one of the most coveted clients in the country.
The final insult was the low compensation — given the thousands of hours of grunt work — while partners, who are just a few years older, received as much as three to four times their pay, a source said.
